Isabel dos Santos is also the first female billionaire in Africa.
 
Born in Angola in 1973, she is the eldest daughter of former Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos.
 
Isabel Dos Santos studied electrical engineering at King’s College in London.  She went on to work as a project manager for various companies in Angola and Portugal.
 
In the early 1990s, Isabel Dos Santos started her own trucking business. This grew into a large-scale transportation and logistics company.
