Grace in Surrender

0

You surrender so gracefully,
To every season, every change, every adversity.
With your branches, I see resilience and flexibility,
A lesson for me , to surrender and accept life’s diversity.

In spring, you burst with new life,
In summer, your fruits bring joy and delight,
In fall, your leaves turn golden and bright,
And in winter, you stand strong, embracing the cold and the night.

You do not resist the storms or the winds,
Instead, you sway and dance with them,
Your roots hold firm, your trunk bends,
And in the end, you emerge unbroken and firm.

I want to learn from you,

To surrender to the flow, to the rhythm and to the sound,
For in surrendering, there is; the treasures that make man profound.
